Mastering the art of remembering reusable bags when going to the grocery store or farmer's market can be difficult. Some of us have every intention of bringing our own bags, only to step in the store and realize those bags are sitting in a different car / the kitchen / on the doorknob / any other place, but your hand so you won't forget them. If only you could wave a magic wand and make them appear. The Goody Green Bag can't do that, but it does have a nifty design that might just help you remember a reusable bag once and for all.

* Using reusable bags helps decrease the number of unnecessary plastic bags used in every day.
* The bag comes in two sizes, the uno and the due. The uno is shaped like a paper grocery bag (18.5" tall x 15" wide) and the due is shaped like a shopping bag (16" tall x 18" wide).
* Both shapes fold into a wallet-sized styles, allowing you to easily stick it in your purse or work bag so you will never be without your own bag.
* The directions to fold up the bag are clear and easy to follow.
* I tested the due design and love the more shopping bag shape.
* The due bag seems to hold more items too; on multiple occasions I carried quite a few vegetables, melons, eggs, and cartons of cider out of the farmer's market and never felt like it was going to give.
* Goody Green Bags come in many designs and patterns; and, when the bag is unfolded is has a decent size front pocket, perfect for your shopping list, keys, or cell phone.
* It held up through a few washings in my washing machine and it air dries quickly.

The Bottom Line
I really like the shape of the due bag and how much it can hold. It is a stylish, durable bag that folds up neatly to fit in my purse ensuring it is with me at all times. Hopefully the company will look into using recycled materials to make the bags and their marketing materials. Once those are in line, this product will be spell binding. As for recycling, Reynolds Wrap has a new 100 percent recycled aluminum foil that is similar to a product from If You Care, a green product line. Both come in eco-friendly packaging made of recycled paper and water- or vegetable-based ink.

Manufacturers say the production of recycled aluminum wrap consumes 80 to 95 percent less energy than brand-new foil. Best of all, you can recycle it again.

Reynolds Wrap recycled aluminum is available in regular (50 square feet or 35 square feet heavy-duty, $2.99) at Target and is due to be at Safeway and Raley's stores soon. If You Care is sold at independent grocers and Whole Foods (50 square feet or 30 square feet heavy-duty, $3.40-$5).
